Description

End-of-terrace two-bay two-storey house, built c. 1901, as a group of four with the adjoining houses to the north. Pitched slate roof having red brick chimneystacks. Rendered walls with moulded render continuous label mouldings over segmental-arched ground floor openings. Timber sliding sash windows and timber panelled door. Rendered boundary walls having wrought-iron railings and gate.

Appraisal

This house forms part of a notable group which makes an interesting contribution to the streetscape due to the scale and form of the terrace. The terrace is enhanced by the retention of original features and materials, such as the segmental-arched openings, label mouldings, slate roof, timber sliding sash windows and wrought-iron railings.
