Single-arched limestone road bridge over the Dungourney River, built c. 1770. Snecked walls with dressed plinth courses and rounded copings terminating in round-profile piers with carved caps. Benchmark to north-east pier. Cut voussoirs to round-headed arches.
Finely constructed bridge of high quality architectural design and detailing. The combination of snecked and dressed limestone construction provides textural variation to road bridge. The dressings articulate the form of the bridge and were clearly executed by skilled masons.
