Terraced two-bay three-storey house, c.1825. Reroofed and refenestrated, c.1950. Now in use as offices. One of a pair. Pitched (shared) roof with replacement artificial slate, c.1950, clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stack, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Unpainted rendered, ruled and lined walls. Square-headed window openings with cut-limestone sills, and replacement one-over-one timber sash windows, c.1950. Round-headed door opening with rendered surround, and timber panelled door having overlight. Interior with timber panelled shutters to window openings. Set back from line of road with sections of iron railings to front on rendered plinth.
A well-composed Classically-proportioned middle-size house built as one of a pair (second in pair not included in survey) retaining the original composition attributes together with substantial quantities of the early fabric both to the exterior and to the interior, thereby making a positive impression on the visual appeal of the street scene.
