Painted ruled-and-lined rendered walling, smooth rendered plinth course, square-headed window openings and painted concrete sills. Replacement hardwood casement windows to both floors. Square-headed door opening, timber reveals, hardwood glazed door and limestone step. Segmental-headed carriage arch with steel sheet.

Appraisal

A substantial and well-proportioned house, which despite losing most of its original features retains its façade composition and form. The building is an integral part of the urban fabric of this streetscape and forms part of an important terrace in the vicinity of St Peter's Church, marking one the main approach roads into Portlaoise. Its presence is a positive contribution to the architectural landscape.
