Description
Detached three-bay single-storey house, built c.1890. Hipped slate roof with red brick chimneystack. Roughcast rendered walls. Timber casement and sash windows. Round-arched door opening with fanlight. Earlier house attached to the rear, with pitched slate roofs and timber sash windows. Pair of octagonal stone gate piers set in rubble stone walls to site.
Appraisal
This modest house retains many interesting features and materials, such as the slate roof, and timber windows. The fine fanlight is a notable feature of the building. This house is attached to an earlier house to the rear, which also retains many interesting features and materials.
