Terraced two-bay three-storey house, built c.1870, with modern timber shopfront to ground floor. Pitched tiled roof with rendered chimneystacks. Ruled-and-lined render to walls. Timber sash windows with stone sills. Timber panelled door with spoked fanlight and painted cut stone surround. Building fronts onto street.
The regular form of this building, with its simple classical proportions demonstrated in the fenestration and entrance, makes a positive contribution to the Main Street of Boyle. Built as one of a pair, with the structure to the east, this building and its neighbour form an attractive block in the streetscape. The detailing, such as the simple spoked fanlight and timber panelled door, together with original interior fabric, make this structure an important part of the Boyle's architectural heritage.
