Appraisal

A country house which, despite being rebuilt, retains its original atmosphere and a noteworthy doorcase. Cooldrinagh House was the childhood home of Maria Jones Beckett (née Roe) (1872-1950) whose husband, William Frank Beckett (1871-1933), built a house called "Cooldrinagh" (1902-3) in south County Dublin (see 60260193).
