Description

Semi-detached five-bay two-storey former public house, c.1885. Simple timber door with overlight and timber sash and casement windows with stone sills set in roughcast rendered walls with platband. Pitched and hipped pantile roof. Possibly originally single-storey. Now a dwelling.

Appraisal

Good example of a street-fronted rural vernacular house, with the added social feature of having been a public house. Forms a good group with its single-storey neighbour, which it may once have resembled more closely.
