Detached five-bay three-storey country house, built 1702, and renovated in 1987. Dressed stone window openings with uPVC windows set in roughcast elevations - dashed in 1947. Later wing to east, formerly stables, with irregular bays and doors, now used for domestic accommodation. Truncated roof apex with flat roof at front leading to three hipped slate roofs to rear and two flanking chimney stacks. Later detached barns located nearby. Possible site of original spa well in garden.
A large house, characteristic of the early eighteenth century, and of significant historical note, situated at the original spa well, and close to the City Watercourse to the north.
