Detached four-bay single-storey farm house, c.1800. Roughcast rendered rubble stone walls. Timber casement windows. Lean-to porch with timber tongue and groove door. Pitched artificial slate roof with rendered chimney stack. Single-bay rubble stone extension to the north with corrugated iron roof and timber tongue and groove door. Three outbuildings to the east of rubble stone construction with corrugated-iron roofs. Buttressed corrugated iron clad structure to north end of house.
This farmyard complex is a rare surviving example of a vernacular development set in a very isolated rural area. Some of the outbuildings may pre-date the main house itself and may have been used for housing before the main house was built.
