Freestanding cut-limestone cross, dated 1412, on a square plan on cherurb-detailed panelled pedestal on ribbon pointed rubble limestone pier on chamfered plinth. Road fronted.
A cross making a pleasing, if largely inconspicuous visual statement in a rural village street scene. NOTE: The provenance of the cross has been disputed with one theory suggesting that it was unearthed in the 1830s and installed as a "Suppression Cross" and another theory suggesting that it was taken from a nearby church dedicated to Saint Fionntan [SMR KD004-001----].
