Appraisal

This bridge is an attractive rubble stone footbridge that forms a subtle feature in the grounds of Castle View House, and which is one of a pair of footbridges in the grounds (including 11803141/KD-05-03-141). The construction of the arch that has retained its original shape is of technical and engineering merit. The bridge exhibits traditional stone masonry to the construction of the walls.
