Scoil Naisiúnta Naomh Bríde is a fine and imposing long, substantial range that retains much of its original form and character. Of social and historical significance the school represents the continued expansion of educational facilities in Kildare town in the early to mid twentieth century. The school retains most of its original features and materials, including timber panelled fittings to the door openings and timber sash fenestration. Set back slightly from the line of the road, the school dominates the streetscape of the east end of Convent Road, and forms a neat group with the earlier national school to west (11817036/KD-22-014-36).
