Detached two-bay single-storey cottage with dormer attic, c.1800, possibly originally thatched. Now disused or in use as outbuilding. Gable-ended roof with slate. Clay ridge tiles. Rendered chimney stack. Timber bargeboards to gable to north-east. No rainwater goods. Rendered walls (probably over rubble stone construction). Unpainted. Square-headed openings. No sills. Timber lintels. Timber fittings. Road fronted.
This cottage, which is now apparently disused, is an attractive small-scale building of considerable social and historic interest, representing a final fragment of the vernacular tradition in Ballitore. The cottage retains early or original features and materials, including timber lintels to the openings and a slate roof.
