Graveyard with various cut-stone grave markers, c.1880-present, including Celtic Cross style and obelisk markers. Rubble stone boundary wall to enclosure. Gateway, c.1880, to east comprising pair of cut-stone piers with wrought iron gates.
This graveyard is an attractive feature in the landscape and is of considerable social and historic interest, containing burial plots and grave markers from the late nineteenth century to the present. Of particular note are the two Celtic Cross style markers that represent the emerging taste for the Celtic Revival in the early twentieth century. The quality of design and the stone masonry in the execution of the grave markers is of artistic significance. Also of interest are the iron gates to the entrance into the graveyard. To the centre of the enclosure is a small mound, possibly the site of a former chapel and possibly also of archaeological importance.
