Attached five-bay two-storey house, c.1850, on a corner site possibly originally two separate two-bay two-storey (south) and three-bay two-storey (north) houses with single-bay two-storey side elevation. Renovated, c.1875, with pubfront inserted to left ground floor having render façade enrichments added to first floor. Refenestrated, c.1975. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks, and replacement uPVC rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Painted rendered walls with rendered quoins to corners. Square-headed window openings with rendered sills, moulded rendered surrounds, c.1875, having decorative detailing to left first floor, and replacement timber casement windows, c.1975, retaining one-over-one timber sash window to right ground floor. Square-headed door opening with moulded rendered surround, c.1875, and replacement glazed timber panelled door. Rendered pubfront, c.1875, to left ground floor with painted roughcast panelled pilasters (some paired), replacement timber display windows, c.1975, on panelled risers having casement overlights, timber panelled double doors, fascia over originally having raised lettering (raised lettering removed, 2004), and decorative consoles supporting moulded cornice. Road fronted on a corner site with concrete flagged footpath to front.
A well-appointed house of modest architectural aspirations possibly originally intended as two separate ranges distinguished by fine rendered façade embellishments exhibiting high quality craftsmanship including an attractive pubfront of traditional design together with florid accents to some openings.
