Freestanding single-bay two-stage pump house, c.1875, on a square plan over holy well. Now disused. Flat roof with remains of cast-iron water tank over. Unpainted rendered walls possibly over random rubble stone construction. Square-headed door opening with no fitting surviving. Set back from road.
Positioned over a holy well representing an important element of the heritage of the locality on account of the status as an early-surviving ecclesiastical site a pump house survives, albeit in a dishevelled state as a mid to late nineteenth-century artefact of some engineering significance.
