Walled garden, established 1767-71, with red brick Flemish bond boundary wall to perimeter of site. Now disused with wall partly collapsed. Set back from road in grounds shared with Castletown Cox.
The remains of a once-extensive walled garden surviving as a reminder of the services put in place to facilitate the operation of a large-scale country house estate in the mid to late eighteenth century. Contributing to the group and setting values of the Castletown Cox estate the construction entirely in red brick serves to distinguish the composition in the grounds.
