Graveyard with various cut-stone markers, pre-1790-post-1918. Road fronted with random rubble stone boundary wall to perimeter of site having rubble stone coping, unpainted rendered piers having painted capping, and iron gate.
Located on a slightly elevated position forming an appealing landmark in the rural landscape a picturesque graveyard represents one of the earliest-surviving ecclesiastical sites in the locality of Kilbride: the foundations of a medieval church in the grounds identify the archaeological significance of the site. Displaying high quality traditional craftsmanship a collection of cut-stone markers highlights the artistic design merit of the site.
