Terraced two-bay two-storey house, built c. 1880, with two-bay two-storey lean-to extension c.1980 to rear. Pitched artificial slate roof, clay ridge tiles and a rendered chimneystack to either end. Replacement metal gutter, cast-iron downpipe. Painted pebbledash rendered walling, smooth rendered plinth course. Square-headed window openings, smooth rendered surrounds and painted limestone sills. Tripartite uPVC windows to both floors. Central square-headed door opening, smooth rendered surround, uPVC door.
A modest nineteenth-century townhouse, which despite losing most of its original features retains its façade composition and form. The building is an integral part of the urban fabric of this streetscape and forms part of an important terrace in the vicinity of St. Peter's Church, marking one the main approach roads into Portlaoise.
