Appraisal

Originally owned by the Marquis of Anglesea, this handsome house displays symmetry and proportioning making an elegant façade. The survival of original timber sliding sash windows and the striking doorway add architectural interest. The round-headed window with its stained glass lights is a particularly interesting feature adding a subtle artistic quality to the house. Beautifully situated overlooking the sea, the splayed entranceway completes the structure.
