Detached three-bay two-storey house, built 1846. Symmetrical gabled breakfronts, central square porch projecting from east elevation, two-bay two-storey in line extension to north, single-storey pitched roof porch to west (rear). Pitched slate roofs, roll-top clay ridge tiles, painted smooth rendered corbelled chimneystacks to main house, brick corbelled chimneystack to gable of extension, painted timber decorative barges to breakfronts, moulded uPVC gutters on painted timber fascia, square uPVC downpipes. Painted roughcast rendered walling with strapwork patterning, painted projecting plinth. Square-headed window openings, stone sills, painted timber sliding sash windows, tripartite to ground floor, two-over-two to first floor, painted timber casements to first floor north wing. Painted timber porch, transomed and mullioned windows, decorative square-pane leaded lights to upper panels, cornice and parapet with gabled motifs, recessed roundels and octagonal corner pinnacles, painted timber door with two raised diamond pattern lower panels and two glazed upper panels. On elevated site, two-storey outbuilding range to north-west with pitched slate roof and painted roughcast rendered walling, approached by winding gravel driveway, commanding views over Carlingford Lough, painted smooth rendered double curve gatesweep with wrought- and cast-iron gates mounted on piers with pyramid caps.
This house is superbly located overlooking Carlingford Lough. The decorative bargeboards and porch display considerable artistic quality and evidence of craftsmanship.
