Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c. 1870, now ruinous. Roof missing. Smooth rendered ruled-and-lined, stone plinth and quoins. Square-headed window openings, tooled stone sills, windows missing. Square-headed door opening flanked by panelled pilasters with console brackets supporting cornice, door accessed by stone steps, door missing. House situated in field, ruinous random rubble stone outbuilding to north-east, red brick dressings to openings; ruinous walled garden to east, random rubble stone external walling and red brick quoins to corners.
Woodlawn House was once a grand structure located within its own extensive grounds and though now in a ruinous state many elements of the building and its associated structures remain which are architecturally significant. The main door opening enlivens the façade with decorative pilasters and console brackets and the walled garden and the outbuilding reveal the original site context for this once important building.
