Detached double-pile three-bay two-storey over basement house, built c. 1780. Rectangular-plan, two-storey canted bay to north elevation, single-storey extension to east c. 1900. Pitched slate roof, clay ridge tiles, smooth rendered chimneystacks with moulded caps, moulded cast-iron gutters, circular cast-iron downpipes. Smooth rendered walling. Square-headed window openings, painted stone sills, smooth rendered reveals, painted timber six-over-three sliding sash windows to first floor, six-over-six to ground floor, three-over-three to basement, two-over-two to extension; painted timber fixed lights to bay windows. Segmental-headed door opening, moulded stone surround, painted timber door with glazed panels, plain-glazed fanlight; square-headed door opening to extension, painted timber vertically-sheeted door. Two-storey random rubble outbuildings to north and north-east, pitched slate roofs, square-headed window openings, painted timber casements, painted timber three-over-six sliding sash windows to north outbuilding; square-headed door openings, painted timber sheeted doors; roughcast boundary walls, painted stone coping, smooth rendered gate piers, painted stone caps, metal gates.
This group consisting of the main house and its associated outbuildings is largely unaltered and retains its original fenestration and other original details.
