Detached four-bay two-storey house, built c. 1840. Rectangular-plan. extended to west c. 1900, gable-fronted single-storey porch to north, lean-to extension to north. Pitched slate roof, clay ridge tiles, rendered corbelled chimneystacks, stone verge coping, rendered stone projecting eaves course, moulded cast-iron gutters, cast-iron hoppers and downpipes; painted stone moulded verge coping to porch gable with ball finial. Painted roughcast rendered walling with smooth rendered plinth and quoins. Square-headed window openings, slightly projecting reveals, painted stone sills, painted timber sliding sash windows with and without horns, painted timber Wyatt windows flanking door opening to north, uPVC windows to west gable. Entrance porch with engaged painted stone ionic columns and arched bedded pediment, square-headed door opening with timber panelled door and plain glazed overlight. Painted roughcast boundary wall to north, smooth rendered plinth and flat coping, cylindrical gate piers with four-gabled cap stones and finials, wrought-iron gate. Set back from road overlooking Dundalk bay to south, farmyard to west with range of whitewashed rubble stone structures accessed through wrought-iron gates.
The well proportioned façade of this house is enhanced by the elegant pedimented porch and relatively small window openings. The survival of the original slate and windows contributes to the character and charm.
