Appraisal

This corn mill is a fine example of rural industrial architecture and the engineering capabilities of the nineteenth century. Situated to the south of Longfield River, the mill retains the majority of its interior machinery and exterior features. This mill, though no longer used makes a significant contribution to the heritage of Killanny and County Louth.
