Detached four-bay two-storey house, built c. 1850. Asymmetric timber gabled porch to south c. 1960, two-storey lean-to extension to north-east. Hipped slate roof, clay ridge and hip tiles; unpainted roughcast corbelled chimneystacks with strings and chamfered bases, clay pots; moulded cast-aluminium gutters on painted timber fascias on paired painted timber sprockets. Unpainted roughcast rendered walling, smooth rendered quoins, smooth rendered plinth. Square-headed window openings, stone sills, smooth rendered slightly-projecting reveals, painted timber one-over-one sliding sash windows. Square-headed door openings, painted timber vertically-sheeted doors with glazed panels. Set in own grounds, gravelled paths, lawns, random rubble boundary wall with cobble saddle-back coping to east, tooled stone square gate posts, wrought-iron gate. Extensive single- and two-storey rubble stone outbuildings to west with slate roofs.
This long, narrow, house has a lop-sided appearance owing to the asymmetric positioning of the entrance porch. The bracketed roof eaves detailing is of interest and original fenestration has survived. The boundary wall coping and gate posts are also worthy of note. Extensive stone outbuildings are of some quality suggesting association with a large farm.
