Single-arch stone road bridge over river, built c. 1750. Random rubble stone walls, tooled stone voussoirs to arches, random rubble stone buttresses flanking arch, parapet removed. Spans the Old Glen River within Townley Hall demesne.

Appraisal

This bridge, known as Mullaroo Bridge, is situated in the heart of Townley Hall demesne and is an attractive bridge of traditional construction. The stone voussoirs contrast with the random stone walling and although the parapet to both north and south has been removed it is still an important structure within the demesne.
