Roman Catholic cemetery, c.1915, with twentieth-century Celtic Revival high crosses and upright stone grave markers. Statuary depicting the crucifixion at centre of cemetery. Bounded by rendered wall with cast-iron gate piers and wrought-iron gates.
Appraisal
The Roman Catholic cemetery at Drumconrath contains many carved grave markers, including several Celtic Revival high crosses, which are of artistic interest. The setting of the cemetery is enhanced by the religious statuary at its centre, the cast-iron gate piers and the wrought-iron gates.
