Detached seven-bay two-storey roughcast rendered former stable, built c.1800, now in use as outbuilding. Segmental-arched integral carriage arches, and square-headed block-and-start openings with stone sills and timber sash windows. Square-headed door openings with stone block-and-start surrounds. Hipped slate roof. Remains of demolished block to the north end once linked stables and house.
The impressive stable block compliments the architecture of Crossdrum House. Architectural design and attention to detail are apparent in the execution. This former stable block enhances the setting and context of the main house.
