Coursed limestone burial vault, c.1830, with dressed limestone coping. Surrounded by two sets of cast-iron railings on limestone plinth walls with anthemion-headed corner posts. Accessed through cast-iron gate. Flight of stone steps lead down to vault.
This vault is the largest burial site in the graveyard. It forms an interesting feature in the graveyard, which contains headstone of many different styles and periods. Constructed of rubble limestone, the limestone copings and cast-iron railings are well executed. The anthemion heads on the corner posts add artistic detail to the otherwise plain railings surrounding the vault.
