Terrace of six two-bay two-storey houses, built c.1900, with full-height canted bay windows, and returns to rear. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and cast-iron rainwater goods. Rendered walls with string courses and eaves dentils. Square-headed door openings with hood mouldings above.
Victoria Terrace and the adjoining terrace are large terraces which dominate the coastline of Laytown. These sea-facing terraces became popular during the late nineteenth century, when the arrival of the railway made the coast more accessible. There are a number of these terraces along the strand at Bettystown and Laytown. This terrace displays architectural design and detail.
