Detached three-bay two-storey over basement house, built c.1800, with single- and two-storey returns. Hipped artificial slate roof with eaves dentils and rendered chimneystacks. Rendered walls. Timber sash windows with stone sills. Round-arched block-and-start tooled stone doorcase with fanlight and replacement door, flanked by sidelights, approached by stone steps with wrought-iron railings. Dressed stone gates piers with cast-iron double gates.
Glebe House is a well proportioned and symmetrical designed house. The plain façade is enlivened by the carved stone doorcase, which adds artistic interest to the building, with finely carved detailing. The survival of many interesting features and materials, such as the stone steps and the timber sash windows enhance the house.
