Detached eight-bay two-storey house, built c.1870, now also in use as public house. Formerly a pair of houses. Pitched artificial slate roof with rendered chimneystacks. Rendered walls. Segmental-arched and square-headed openings with timber sash windows and stone sills. Pair of shopfronts to the ground floor. Extension to rear.
Brady's once combined a bar and grocery with hotel accommodation and livery stables. This combination of services was typical of the nineteenth century throughout Ireland. The simple form of the building is enhanced by the retention of many features and materials, such as the segmental-arched openings on the ground floor and the timber sash windows.
