Detached single-cell church, built c.1890, with bellcote to porch on south elevation, and with a porch to the north elevation. Pitched slate roof. Rock-faced limestone walls with buttresses and yellow and red brick dressings. Pointed arch openings with yellow and red brick dressings. Remains of cast-iron windows. Timber battened doors with strap hinges. Rubble stone boundary walls, with dressed limestone piers and wrought-iron gate.
The bellcote over the entrance porch is an interesting and unusual feature of the architectural design of this church. The masonry treatment of this church adds textural interest to the site. The yellow and red brick dressings contrast with the rock-faced limestone walls. Though now derelict, this church retains many features and materials, such as the cast-iron windows and slate roof.
