Appraisal

This well proportioned house forms part of a group of semi-detached houses, possibly built by the Goodbody family for some of their employees, located to the western side of Clara. The unusual two-storey tower like extension is a striking feature to the house and this, along with the retention of the timber sash windows add architectural significance to this structure, making it a positive contributor to the streetscape of Clara.
