Detached four-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c.1820. Set within its own grounds. Pitched slate roof with terracotta ridge tiles, brick and stone chimneystacks and cast-iron rainwater goods. Timber sash windows with stone sills. Square-headed door opening with replacement door. Wrought-iron gate to road.
Now surrounded by a modern housing development, this detached house is a good example of Ireland's vernacular tradition. This simple structure is enhanced by the survival of original features such as the timber sash windows and brick chimneystacks.
