Description
End-of-terrace three-bay three-storey house, built c.1790, with modern shopfront and integral carriage-arch to ground floor. Now in use as a commercial premises with accommodation over. Pitched natural slate roof with two rendered chimneystacks and a projecting eaves course. Rendered walls with square-headed window openings having replacement windows. Shopfront with fixed pane windows and central square-headed doorcase to ground floor. Road-fronted.
Appraisal
An modest building which has been altered on numerous occasions. The irregular fenestration and layout of chimneystacks suggests that this structure was extended to the west. The splayed corner to the west is an unusual feature.
