Remains of plain building on rectangular plan, built c.1775. Now a ruin and no longer in use. Built of roughly coursed limestone rubble with a slight base-batter. Square-headed doorcase with red brick dressings to northern end and remains of brick pier to south end. Located to the south of Custume Barracks.
An usual structure that may have been originally built as an ammunition store on account of thick walls and the absence of openings. It dates from the period before the major expansion of the barracks in the early nineteenth-century and is an important component within the barrack complex.
