Appraisal

An elegantly-appointed gateway associated with Coolatore House (15403114), which retains its early form and character. The highly ornate cast-iron gate posts and the cast and wrought-iron gates are of significant artistic and technical merit and make a suitably fine first impression on entering the grounds of Coolatore House. The well-built boundary wall and the more simple gateway to the north add significantly to this fine composition.
