Single-arch road bridge over railway line, opened 1872. Part creeper- or ivy-covered coursed or snecked rock faced limestone walls with cut-limestone chamfered stringcourses supporting rock faced limestone ashlar parapets having cut-limestone chamfered coping. Single round arch with margined rock faced limestone voussoirs. Sited spanning railway line with unkempt embankments to railway line.
A bridge identified as an integral component of the later nineteenth-century civil engineering heritage of Enniscorthy on account of the connections with the extension of the Dublin, Wicklow and Wexford Railway (DWWR) line opened (1872) by the Dublin, Wicklow and Wexford Railway (DWWR) Company.
