Description
Gateway, extant 1840, on a symmetrical plan comprising pair of panelled piers on red brick header bond chamfered cushion courses on plinths having red brick header bond stringcourses below capping supporting spear head-detailed wrought iron double gates. Road fronted at entrance to grounds of Clonatin House.

A gateway making a pleasing visual statement in a sylvan street scene at the entrance on to the grounds of the Clonatin House estate.
