A graveyard representing an important component of the ecclesiastical heritage of County Wexford [SMR WX027-012002-] with a collection of markers signed by Miles Brien (----) of Rathduff; and James Byrne (----) of Clone exemplifying the Irish Churchyard Sculpture tradition in County Wexford (Longfield 1974, 2): meanwhile, an overgrown plot contains the remains of Reverend Michael Murphy (1750-98), 'one of Wexford's Illustrious Patriot Priests who was killed on June 9th 1798 leading the Insurgents at the Battle of Arklow' (cf. 15702721).
