Burial ground, opened 1731. Disused, 1939. Set in overgrown grounds with coursed rubble stone boundary wall to perimeter having rubble stone soldier course coping centred on camber-headed gateway framing wrought iron gate.
A burial ground opened on a site obtained (1730) from John Elly (1651-1733) representing an important component of the ecclesiastical heritage of County Wexford. The first burial was that of Anna Barnes (1704-32) while the last was that of William Robert Williams (1835-59). NOTE: Described (7th July 1854) as a graveyard measuring 1 r. [rood] and 31 p. [perches] in extent and valued at £0 10s. 0d. with George Deane (----) named as the "Immediate Lessor" (Primary Valuation of Ireland).
