Single-arched road bridge over a railway line, built in 1863. The bridge is constructed in squared granite rubble with the parapets and voussoirs in coursed rock-faced granite. The arch has a segmental head and above it is a dressed granite string course. The parapets have rounded granite coping.
This well preserved granite road bridge is part of the wider (and equally well preserved) 1860s-70s railway station complex and as such possesses what might be termed as ‘group value’.
