Nineteen-arch bridge over river, built 1754-6. Remodelled, 1959. Repaired, 1982. Repointed coursed rubble stone walls between triangular cutwater piers on mass concrete plinths with replacement tubular steel railings on reinforced concrete deck. Series of nineteen segmental arches with hammered or rough cut rubble stone voussoirs. Sited spanning Avoca River.
A bridge erected by Andrew Noble (d. 1759) representing an important component of the eighteenth-century civil engineering heritage of County Wicklow (Cox and Gould 1998, 97).
