Detached two-bay one and a half storey railway station, dated 1855. This belonged to the Dublin & Wicklow Railway Company. The railway station is constructed in rubble field stone with block and start quoins and window surrounds. To the south elevation there is a lean-to addition. The timber sheeted front door is set within a gabled porch which is on the west side of the building. Window openings are segmental arch headed with a mixture of uPVC and timber sash frames. The pitched roof is finished with artificial slate with cast-iron rainwater goods. The chimneystack is in brick with plain cap and clay pots. The railway station is set by the side of the railway line adjoining a gateless level crossing.
This railway station has retained its original setting. It is well preserved and an asset to the local heritage.
