Narrow six-arch road bridge over the Avonmore River, built c.1680. The bridge is constructed in coursed rubble with roughly fashioned voussoirs to the elliptical arches. There are ‘V’ cutwaters to the west face and the parapets have rough coping. The bases of the piers have been strengthened in concrete. The bridge is only 3.2m wide between the parapets.
Probably dating from the later 17th-century and seemingly the oldest bridge in the county, this is a well maintained structure which is complimented by its idyllic setting.
