Detached seven-bay two and a half-storey over basement country house, built c.1760. The country house is finished part in render and part in vertical hung slate. There is a two-storey three-bay canted breakfront to the centre of the south-east front elevation. The panelled timber door has stone dressings and is surmounted by a pediment. Window openings are flat-headed with six over six timber sash frames. There are symmetrically arranged farm ranges, now part ruinous, to either side of the front elevation. The country house is set on a slight rise overlooking the main road.
Unusual mid to late 18th-century gentleman's country house with now ruinous Palladian style "pavilion" outbuildings. One of the most distinctive of the "middle-size" class of country houses in County Wicklow. The slate hung surface finish shows bullet holes from the 1798 Rebellion.
