Description

Freestanding single-bay single-storey neo-Egyptian temple style mausoleum, dated 1837, comprising engaged Doric columns flanking recessed entrance with pediment above. Pitched limestone cut-stone roof. Cut-limestone walls with inset plaque to front elevation, having rubble stone side walls and plain frieze. Carved limestone lugged doorcase with cast-iron double leaf doors. Set in graveyard of ruined church. Inscribed plaque reads "A.D. 1837 erected by John Bindon Scott of Cahercon and John Scott of Crevagh to the memory of their fathers also for themselves and posterity".
